"Intended" vs "Application"

"Intended" and "Application" are terms used by Element451 to identify how data is related to a student's funnel status.

"Intended" Fields are used at the Prospect stage, when the student submits a Request for Information Form. They indicate what the student "intendeds" to study, and what term they intended to enroll. These fields are available to add to Forms and Event registrations.

"Application" Fields are related to the Application for enrollment that the student submits. These Fields are only available to add to Applications.

When to Use These Fields

Intended Term and Intended Major should primarily be used for collecting data on suspects and prospects. As soon as someone applies, they should be utilizing Application Major and Application Term. Β

This allows you to track if people change their mind between stages and to also allow for people to have multiple applications for differing majors and terms.
