SFTP Server Upgrade

As part of our continued commitment to delivering a platform built on the best technology infrastructure, we are excited to move toward an improved SFTP server solution for file transfers. Transitioning to this new platform has two main benefits:

  1. Improved security.

  2. Increased performance that allows for higher data loads.

Our team will update the relevant data connectors in Element451's Import/Export module to make this transition easy for your campus team.

If you have external integration services (like an SFTP connector for your SIS integration) or tools (like FileZilla) that connect to Element451's SFTP server, you'll need to update the hostname.

May 12, 2023 will be the last day we will support connections to our legacy server.

Updating Your External SFTP connections:

To make the transition, you'll need to update the hostname to: sftp2.data.451.io

You'll continue to use the same SFTP username and password that you use to connect to the legacy server. Remember, this is NOT the same as your Element451 username and password.

When your team has completed updates (or if you have no updates to make), please get in touch with us via live support so we can update our records.
