Updated this week

This feature is currently in closed beta and available to a limited number of partners. We're continuing to enhance this feature and plan for a wider release soon.

Element451’s Bolt AI Student Assistants now include Advanced Voice Mode, offering real-time, voice-driven interactions through both Messenger (Live Chat) and Phone (In-App Calling)* channels.

With Advanced Voice Mode, institutions can enable 24/7, human-like conversations that provide immediate support to students through voice-based communication, whether answering inbound calls or proactively reaching out.*

  • Real-time Voice Processing: Enables natural, flowing conversations to create a more human-like interaction experience.

  • Expands 24/7 Support: Enhances the immediate, around-the-clock support provided by AI Assistants with voice-driven capabilities.

  • Multi-channel Integration:

    • Messenger (Live Chat)

      • Adds a voice interaction option to the existing messenger interface.

      • Compatible across all messenger access points: Element451 Pages, your institution's website, and StudentHub.

    • Phone (In-App Calling)*

      • Purchase phone numbers in Conversation Settings and assign them to specific assistants.

      • Assistants can receive inbound calls and initiate outbound calls using the Conversations module.

      • Set objectives for outbound calls, enabling the assistant to drive focused conversations towards defined goals (e.g., guiding students to complete their application).

      • Assign a specific phone number where calls are transferred when a student requests to speak to a human.

      • As a reminder, call threading was updated in preparation for this release, and individual phone calls now appear in independent threads.

  • Voice Assignment Required: Assistants must have a voice assigned to be used in Advanced Voice Mode.

  • Voice options: Choose from the following voice options: Alloy, Echo, Shimmer, Ballad, Coral, Sage, Ash, and Verse.

Advanced Voice Mode empowers institutions to deliver more efficient, accessible, and responsive student support while maintaining the personal touch students expect in their communications. With this feature, institutions can:

  • Scale support operations without additional staffing.

  • Provide always-on student support.

  • Improve response times to student inquiries.

  • Enhance student satisfaction through immediate, voice-driven assistance.

  • Maintain consistent support quality across all interactions.

  • Centralize resources and support in one unified system.

*In-App Calling and Advanced Voice Mode are premium features subject to Element451's usage-based pricing.
