Scheduled to be Released: July 16, 2025
We’ve expanded the Bolt Agent Jobs permission model to give admins fine-grained control over how team members can access and manage Jobs. This update replaces the previous all-or-nothing access model with a flexible permission structure that aligns better with real-world team roles and responsibilities.
Expanded Permission Model builds on the original:
Access Bolt Jobs – Remains unchanged; provides view-only access to the Jobs interface.
Administer Bolt Agent Jobs – Previously, the only permission for managing jobs. This permission also remains unchanged and allows a user full access to create, edit and delete all jobs.
New Fine-Grained Permissions offer more flexible role-based access:
Manage My Bolt Agent Jobs – Create jobs, edit own jobs, and enroll participants.
Delete My Bolt Agent Jobs – Remove jobs the user created.
Manage Team Bolt Agent Jobs – Create and edit jobs created by team members and enroll participants.
Delete Team Bolt Agent Jobs – Remove jobs created by team members.
Set Self-Approval – Enable or disable self-approval for job actions.
For any of the new permissions to take effect, the user must also have Access Bolt Jobs enabled. This acts as the baseline permission required to interact with Jobs.
These permissions can be added to your new or existing custom permission groups for tailored access.
With these granular permissions, admins can now delegate Bolt Agent Job access more securely and efficiently, ensuring the right level of access for each team member.
