We’re excited to announce Bolt Staff Agent Plugins, a new feature that lets your Bolt Staff Agent connect to thousands of external applications through Zapier. Your Staff Agent can now fetch information or take actions beyond Element451, in tools like Google Sheets or Excel, to communication platforms like Microsoft Teams or Slack.
External App Connectivity: Extend your Bolt Staff Agent’s capabilities to interact with thousands of apps, including ones you already use, available in Zapier.
Powered MCP: Uses Zapier’s Multi-Channel Plugin (MCP) server to control and limit access to approved tools.
Scopeable, Controlled Access: You choose which apps and actions the agent can use.
No-Code Automation: Once configured, the agent can automatically execute approved actions when prompted.
Permission Required: To access Bolt Staff Agent Plugins, you must be an Element451 Administrator or have the Administer Staff Agent Plugins permission added to one of your custom permission groups.
With Bolt Staff Agent Plugins, you can break down data silos and streamline tasks across platforms without leaving Element451. This means faster workflows, fewer manual steps, and more seamless collaboration between your Staff Agent and the tools you already use.
