Released: September 4, 2025
This release delivers improvements to how Element451 ingests and manages sitemaps in the Bolt Knowledge Hub. With expanded visibility into sitemap files, smarter detection of new content, and support for additional formats, managing your website sources is now more transparent, efficient, and flexible.
Transparency for Sitemaps: When you add a website source, you’ll now see which file Element451 used to discover the sitemaps, whether it’s a
robots.txt
file or a sitemap index, and all related sitemap files it references (e.g., news, videos, events). This gives you full visibility into the content being ingested.
Support for Gzipped Sitemaps: The Knowledge Hub can now ingest
.gz
compressed sitemaps.
New Pages Detection: We added a "Detect New Pages" toggle for website sources with Daily Sync enabled.
When enabled, Element451 automatically detects new pages added to your sitemap.
An optional New Pages Filter lets you limit detection to specific paths (e.g.,
/blog/
). If no filter is applied, all new pages will be ingested automatically.
In addition to these improvements, we also released a 🐛 bug fix resolving an issue where selecting specific pages from an indexed sitemap still ingested all pages.
These updates give you more visibility into what’s being ingested, ensure new content is automatically discovered, and make it easier to control and fine-tune your knowledge base.
