Forms Interface Refresh + Folder & Tag Organization | March 2026

Released: March 24, 2026

The Forms interface has been refreshed to better align with the design and structure used across other Element modules. These updates create a more consistent and modern experience when managing forms, making navigation and content management more intuitive.

In addition, new self-service tag management and folder organization capabilities have been introduced, giving users direct control over categorizing and grouping their forms. Previously, there was no way to organize forms into logical groupings, which made it difficult to manage large form libraries. With this update, users can now create and manage tags from a dedicated Tags section and organize forms into folders directly within the Forms module.

  • Refreshed interface to align the Forms layout with other Element451 modules, creating a more consistent experience

  • Improved table structure to better match the interaction patterns used across Element, making form management more familiar and intuitive

  • New folder organization allowing users to create, rename, and delete folders to group forms by type such as RSVP, RFI, program/major, or landing page

  • New Tags section added within the Forms module for centralized tag management

  • Self-service tag management allowing users to create and manage form tags independently for flexible categorization

  • Two new permissions have been added: Administer Form Tags for creating, editing, and deleting form tags, and Administer Form Folders for creating, editing, and deleting form folders

These updates create a more consistent user experience across Element while giving users greater control over form organization. Folder and tag management make it easier to navigate growing form libraries and maintain clean, reusable organizational structures.
