The Documents Bin interface has been refreshed to better align with the design and structure used across other Element modules. These updates create a more consistent and modern experience when managing documents, making navigation and content management more intuitive.
In addition, a new self-service tag management capability has been introduced, giving users direct control over creating, organizing, and managing document tags. Previously, tags were created automatically when applied to documents and could be reused or used for filtering, but they could not be edited or managed afterward. With this update, users can now manage tags directly from a dedicated Tags section within the Documents Bin.
Refreshed interface to align the Documents Bin layout with other Element451 modules, creating a more consistent experience.
Improved table structure to better match the interaction patterns used across Element, making document management more familiar and intuitive.
New Tags section added under the Folders area in the Documents Bin for centralized tag management.
Self-service tag management allowing users to create and manage document tags independently, rather than only generating them when applying tags to documents.
Enhanced filtering enabling users to filter the Documents Bin table by tag name for faster document discovery.
These updates create a more consistent user experience across Element while giving users greater control over document organization. Self-service tag management makes it easier to maintain clean, reusable tagging structures and quickly locate documents using tag-based filtering.
