Released: March 25, 2026
Intelligent Admissions rules now surface clear error details when a rule is automatically deactivated due to a loop. Previously, when two IA rules triggered each other in a cycle, the system silently disabled the offending rule—clearing its conditions and actions with no explanation to admins.
This update adds a visible error state on the Intelligent Admissions settings page, an error details dialog with actionable context, email notifications for admins, and rule attribution in the decision activity feed so you can see exactly which IA rule changed a decision's stage, status, or assignee.
Rule Loop Alerts
Error indicator on deactivated rules — A red warning icon now appears next to the toggle when an IA rule has been deactivated due to a loop, making the error state immediately visible on the settings page.
Error details dialog — Clicking the warning icon opens a dialog showing the human-readable error message, the deactivation date, a link to the affected decision, and the other rule suspected of causing the loop.
Rule content restoration — The dialog includes an option to restore the original rule content so admins can review conditions and actions before making changes and reactivating.
Email notifications—Admins with permissions to manage IA rules now receive an email when a rule is deactivated, with a detailed error message describing what happened.
IA Rule Attribution in Timeline
Decision activity entries in the Timeline tab triggered by an IA rule now display the Intelligent Admissions Rule name, so changes can be tracked and attributed.
Admins can now self-diagnose and resolve IA rule loops without contacting support, and the update to the timeline provides full traceability for rule-driven decision changes.
