Overview
At Element451, we believe digital experiences should be inclusive and accessible to as many people as possible. We are committed to aligning our platform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA standards.
Our Current Accessibility Status
Element451 uses industry best practices to build accessible software and regularly evaluates our platform using both automated tools, deep product knowlege and industry best practices. As of our most recent Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR), the platform:
Supports or Partially Supports all WCAG 2.2 Level A and Level AA criteria.
Only Partially meets some standards, including areas related to color contrast, focus visibility, and status messages.
Continues to evolve as we improve accessibility across across tools and components.
It's important to note that some aspects of the platform—such as user-generated content and certain embedded third-party tools—may fall outside the scope of our internal accessibility testing.
Looking Ahead: Preparing for the 2026 Federal Guidelines
We’re closely following the upcoming U.S. Department of Justice rule that will require some public entities to meet specific digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) by April 2026. In response, we have begun a structured accessibility audit and remediation initiative across which began in Q2 of 2025. Over the next few months we'll be tackling a number of improvements.
This effort will focus on our most visible, public(student)-facing tools, including:
Pages
Application Sites
Appointment Booking Sites
Event Sites
Element Messenger
Bolt Discovery

We're proud of the work we've done already in this area and are committed to continuous improvement in both the near and long-term roadmap.
