Overview

Bolt Assistants for Students represent the next evolution of our AI-powered chatbot capabilities. While BoltBot has served as an effective single assistant, Bolt Assistants provides a suite of specialized digital assistants, each with unique knowledge and skills.

This enhancement allows for more personalized and human-like interactions, closely mirroring real-life support scenarios.

  • Seamless Transition
    All features of BoltBot, such as Skills, Handoff, and Knowledge Base retrieval, are now part of Bolt Assistants.

  • Multiple Assistants
    Deploy multiple assistants of nine different types:

    • Academic Advisor

    • Career Advisor

    • Financial Aid Advisor

    • Common App Advisor

    • Admissions Advisor (with subtypes)

      • Undergraduate

      • Graduate

      • Continuing Education

      • International

      • Domestic

    • Campus Life Advisor

    • Peer Advisor

    • Alumni Advisor

    • Athletics Advisor

  • Teams
    Create groups of assistants to control their activity using condition filters for Page URL, Path URL, UTM Parameters, and Conversation Channel.

  • Customizable Skills
    Control which skills each assistant can use, such as starting applications or registering for events.

  • Skill Permissions
    Customize permissions based on enabled skills, such as which applications can be started or which events can be registered.

  • Personalization Options
    Set custom greetings, avatars (uploaded or AI-generated), and conversation starters.

  • Knowledge Base Access
    Define the level of access each assistant has to the knowledge base.

  • Real-life Interaction Model
    Designed to emulate real-life interactions where specialists handle specific queries, enhancing the personal feel of support.
