Overview

Introducing Conditional Decision Criteria, a new feature that allows you to add conditional logic to Decision Criteria, making it possible to display specific criteria only for students who meet predefined requirements, like as an applicant to a particular program, student type, etc. This enhancement provides greater flexibility in customizing application review, evaluation, and scoring processes.

Details

  • Conditional Logic in Criteria

    • Add conditions to each Decision Criterion, allowing it to be displayed only for students who meet specified criteria.

  • Condition Types

    • Conditions can be set using User Segments or User Segment References, aligning with existing condition formats in Element451.

  • Updated UI

    • The Criteria Settings Page now displays criteria in a table format, making reviewing and managing each criterion easier.

      • Cog (View Details): View and edit criteria configurations such as type, weight, and other settings.

      • Pencil (Edit): Access and modify basic information, including name, description, applications it applies to, and conditions.

      • Trash Can (Delete): Remove criteria permanently.

Benefit

This update allows for enhanced control and flexibility over Decision Criteria, letting you show only relevant criteria based on student characteristics. As a result, your application review process is more efficient and focused, supporting better decision-making and a streamlined workflow.
