Overview

We’ve added an Internal User Login Acknowledgment feature, allowing institutions to display a custom message or acknowledgment to internal users before logging into Element451. This is ideal for presenting compliance-related notices, policies, or institution-specific terms that must be acknowledged before accessing the system.

Details

  • New Configuration Section:

    • Navigate to General Settings > Privacy Policy.

    • A new section called Internal User Login Acknowledgment has been added.

  • Two Key Settings:

    • Show Internal Login Acknowledgment: Toggle to enable or disable the feature.

    • Disclaimer Message: A text field to input the custom acknowledgment message displayed to users.

  • User Experience:

    • When enabled, a modal displaying the defined acknowledgment message will appear on page load, before login.

    • Users must acknowledge the message before proceeding to log in.

  • Use Cases:

    • Displaying compliance notifications (e.g., “System usage is monitored and unauthorized access is prohibited.”)

    • Highlighting internal policies, terms of use, or data privacy reminders.

    • Communicating updates to security protocols or important notices.

Benefit

The Internal User Login Acknowledgment ensures institutions can communicate critical information or meet regulatory compliance requirements by requiring users to acknowledge key messages before login. This enhances awareness and reinforces internal policies effectively.
