New and Enhanced Features

Appointment Enhancements

We released a series of powerful improvements to the Appointments module, designed to make scheduling appointments, managing availability, and integrating with your calendar easier than ever.

This release includes new features now available to all partners, including custom appointment site URLs, admin access to set staff availability, grouped appointment displays, and several user interface enhancements.

It also introduces a direct calendar integration with Google and Outlook, which is currently in closed beta for select partners with a general release coming soon.

Fixes and Improvements

Applications + Decisions

  • Improved

    • Updated the application portal/site to hide the Pay Deposit buttons in the header and sidebar when a payment rule excludes a student or the payment amount is $0.

    • Updated the supplemental form submission to disable the Submit button immediately after clicking, preventing duplicates and displaying a confirmation message upon success.

    • Added a “Registration Rate Limit” setting in Application Settings to manage application volume from the same IP address, helping prevent overload during high-traffic application events.

    • Removed the Email Logo field from Application Site Settings.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where data was not saving when “Home School” or "GED" was selected as the high school type.

Appointments

  • Improved

    • Added the ability for admins to add availability on behalf of any internal user, streamlining appointment setup and scheduling management.

    • Added support for query string parameters to create custom links with pre-applied filters for appointment scheduling.

    • Added an “Additional Information” system field to the appointment registration form, which can be enabled or disabled in the appointment type settings and is scoped to the appointment rather than the student record.

    • Added a “Group By” setting to the Appointments Site index view, allowing appointments to be organized by Type or Category for improved student navigation.

    • Updated the Appointments Site header with a cleaner design, simplified text, and removed secondary header text for a more streamlined appearance.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where attempting to edit appointment availability by toggling the “active” state resulted in an error message and prevented changes from being saved.

    • Resolved an issue where all appointment sites briefly displayed an orange header following a recent update.

    • Resolved an issue where double-clicking the “Schedule Appointment” button could create duplicate appointments due to multiple requests being processed.

Bolt AI

  • Improved

    • Added a new Appointments Agent, which can be accessed from the Bolt Staff Agent Side Panel.

    • Appointments are now included in the ‘Catch Me Up’ shortcut.

    • Added new Bolt Agent shortcuts:

      • Next Appointment: Prepares you for your next appointment

      • Today’s Appointments: Summarizes your appointments for that day

    • Enhanced the knowledge base source creation process to auto-populate the folder field with the currently viewed folder when adding a new source.

    • Added a “Copy HTML” button alongside the “Copy Text” button in the Bolt Agent for Staff side panel for Campaign Creator and Copywriter agents to enable copying with correct formatting.

    • Renamed the Knowledge Base to the Knowledge Hub.

    • Added “I would like to take courses in [subject]” as a trigger to launch the Bolt Agent inquiry flow, improving coverage for varied student phrasing.

    • Updated SHAFT AI review prompt to whitelist “firefighter” references, ensuring public service programs are not incorrectly flagged.

    • Enhanced the Knowledge Base by alphabetizing the ‘Category’ list for improved navigation and usability.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the pause button was missing, preventing users from stopping the default Bolt Agent from participating in conversations.

    • Resolved an issue where CSV files failed to load into the Knowledge Base, displaying a blank preview.

    • Resolved an issue where the “Register for Event” Bolt Agent skill was not triggering.

    • Resolved an issue where Bolt Discovery failed to answer queries despite the information being available in the knowledge base.

    • Resolved an issue where a Bolt Agent collected information from students via the inquiry flow but failed to save it to the conversation.

    • Resolved an issue where the agent incorrectly indicated a human handoff was occurring, even when the handoff feature was disabled.

    • Resolved an issue where Bolt Agent displayed available event times but incorrectly prevented scheduling due to an error.

Conversations

  • Improved

    • Added a new WhatsApp onboarding experience within Conversations, enabling Meta-approved international messaging with template support, saved replies, and enhanced configuration options.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where voice messages in other languages were not translated in the Conversations inbox.

    • Resolved an issue where emails sent by a Bolt Agent in Conversations were sent in Markdown format.

    • Resolved an issue where phone call conversations appeared under the “yesterday” inbox filter despite occurring earlier.

Data + Insights

  • Improved

    • Added the star mapping field user-education-schools-associated_degree-*.

Events

  • Improved

    • Updated event messaging to display “This event is over” when the event is over and “There are no spaces available for this event” when it is fully booked.

    • Removed the Pay Later option from the event payment modal to streamline the registration process and avoid suggesting it as a preferred path.

    • Updated event layout to display the description at the top, ensuring easier access regardless of the number of event dates listed.

    • Updated the event message editor to display all available event-scoped tokens for easier customization.

    • Updated event attendee list exports to run asynchronously, delivering the download link via email.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the venue location formatting on the live event page did not match the preview displayed on the dashboard.

    • Resolved an issue where event landing pages displayed limited date options by default, despite the 90-day availability setting.

Microsites

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the Acceptance Package link in the Admitted Dashboard Message inconsistently directed students to the correct section based on login status.

People

  • Improved

    • Added the ability to include any identity as a column in segments.

    • Added Slate ID as a new Identity Type.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the Race Exists filter in the People module incorrectly included records without a race value.

    • Resolved an issue where clicking “View Content” on a bounced email from the student record resulted in a “Something Went Wrong” error.

Settings

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where users required the Administer Internal Users permission to set their own start page.

Workflows + Rules

  • Improved

    • Added a User Updated column to the Workflows table to track timestamps for user-initiated changes.

    • Added a User Updated timestamp column to the Workflows table to track user-initiated changes, providing a clear contrast against the Updated column, which reflects system back-end activity.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the custom property value for checkbox-type fields in workflow actions would not save.
