Updated this week

Released: Monday, October 20th

We recently completed a review of Contact permissions and introduced a few refinements to ensure access aligns with intended functionality. These updates affect individual permissions related to contact record (people profiles) access.

  • Updated the individual permissions group name from Records to Contacts for consistency.

  • Renamed the permission "Edit Labels" to "Add & Remove Labels" to better describe its function.

  • Refined the following existing permissions to more accurately reflect their intended functionality:

⚠️ Important Notes

  • No permissions were added or removed—only refined to align with intended access behavior and improve clarity.

  • While we don’t anticipate any disruptions, we recommend reviewing user access after the release. If access changes arise, check the user’s assigned Permission Groups and Individual Permissions to confirm proper configuration.

These refinements ensure user permissions function as intended and provide clearer, more consistent labeling across the platform. The updated descriptions also make managing permissions simpler and more transparent for administrators.
