New Fine-Tuning Permissions for Campaigns
Overview: We've expanded the individual permissions related to the Campaigns module to offer more granular control over user access and actions. Alongside our existing permissions—Access Campaigns, Administer Templates, Administer Communications, and Administer Campaigns—we've introduced additional permissions focused on editing, creating, deleting, and sending communications. These permissions can be added to your new or existing permission groups for tailored access.
For these new permissions to function as intended, the user must also have the Access Campaigns permission enabled.
Details
The new individual permissions include:
Edit Own Communications: Allows users to edit only their authored communications.
Edit My Team Communications: Allows users to edit communications authored by any member of their team.
Create Tags: Allows users to create Tags.
Delete Tags: Allows users to delete Tags.
Edit Tags: Allows users to edit all Tags.
Send Communications: Allows users to send all communications.
Send Own Communications: Users are restricted to sending only their authored communications.
Send My Team Communications: Allows users to send communications authored by any member of their team.
Benefit: These enhancements provide teams with the ability to tailor user access and responsibilities more precisely, ensuring that each member has the appropriate level of control over campaign communications.
