Released: January 16, 2026
We’ve significantly enhanced the scheduling flexibility for both Messenger and Bolt Agent availability settings. Previously, you could only apply a single time window across selected days, limiting how precisely you could configure when Messenger or automated agents were active. With this update, you can now set different availability windows for each day of the week, including multiple time ranges within the same day—giving you full control to align with your staffing schedules and student engagement needs.
Messenger availability (“Limit the Time Messenger Is Active” setting) can now be configured with different time ranges for each day of the week, including multiple time blocks per day (e.g., Monday: 8 AM–12 PM and 1 PM–5 PM)
Bolt Agent availability (“Set the Availability of the Bolt Agent” setting) can now be configured with different time ranges for each day of the week, including multiple time blocks per day (e.g., Saturday: 9 AM–11 AM and 6 PM–10 PM)
Unified scheduling controls enables you to align Messenger and Bolt Agent activity with operational hours more precisely.
Supports flexible coverage models, such as having staff manage live chats during work hours while Bolt Agents take over after hours and on weekends.
This update gives schools more granular control over how and when Messenger and Bolt Agents are active. Whether you need to accommodate varying staff shifts or ensure automated coverage outside of business hours, these new settings make it easier to create a communication strategy that fits your operational workflow.
