Overview Header

Weโ€™ve introduced a set of UI and UX enhancements to simplify how you set up, manage, and use Bolt Agents and Bolt Agent Jobs across the platform.

These updates focus on making agent configuration more intuitive, consolidating agent-related settings into a single location, and embedding job creation directly into key workflows. Together, these improvements reduce navigation, streamline onboarding, and make it faster to launch and manage agent-driven work.

Details Header

Bolt Agent Settings Relocation

These updates apply to the Bolt Agent configuration experience (Engagement > Bolt Agents).

  • Relocation of Bolt Agent Settings: Moved Bolt Agent Teams and Settings out of Conversation Settings to the Bolt Agents page.

    • Teams:

      • Agent Teams now have a dedicated page with an enhanced table for managing your Bolt Agent teams.

      • Email, Messenger, SMS, and WhatsApp settings for Bolt Agents are now set at the team level. You choose which segments/addresses/numbers each team should answer. This provides all the same options as before, but even more nuance.

    • Settings: Global Job Enrollment Limit, Active Time Window, Active Days, and Hours are now managed from a single Settings tab.

    • Embed on Website: Makes it easier to find the embed code and add Element Messenger to your website.

  • Content Moderation remains in Conversation Settings, however it has been promoted to its own menu item.

  • Sentiment Analysis is now enabled by default and cannot be disabled.

Bolt Agents Onboarding Improvements

These changes streamline the Agent creation/onboarding flow.

  • Team Assignment: Allows Agents to be assigned to existing Teams directly during Agent setup.

  • Team Creation: Allows agent Teams to be created directly during Agent setup.

  • Communication Settings: Relocated outbound email and phone settings from the general information tab and placed them under a dedicated communication section.

  • Inline Knowledge Source Configuration: Enables knowledge sources to be added and scoped to the agent during creation without leaving the setup process.

Create Bolt Agent Jobs within Features: Organization + Creation

  • Embedded Job Creation: Start the Bolt Job creation process across Applications, Appointments, Events, Forms, and Surveys with a new โ€œCreate Bolt Agent Jobโ€ buttons in each module header.

  • Template-powered Job Setup: When using the Job creation button within a module, Bolt Agent Job Templates are applied to generate best-practice jobs that can be reviewed and personalized before launch.

Note: Job folders were introduced previously as part of this broader initiative. For more details, see the dedicated release note on job folders.

Benefit Header

These updates significantly reduce friction when setting up agents and creating jobs. By consolidating settings, improving navigation, and embedding job creation directly into key workflows, you can configure agents faster, launch jobs more easily, and stay focused on your work without unnecessary context switching.
