Released: July 6, 2026
The Appointments calendar feed (ICS) export has been retired as part of ongoing platform maintenance and security improvements. This feature, sometimes referred to as Export as Link or the live calendar feed, previously generated a subscribable calendar URL that users could add to Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or other calendar applications to view booked appointments.
Native calendar integrations for Outlook and Google now provide a more secure and reliable synchronization experience by automatically reflecting new appointments, updates, and cancellations directly in users’ calendars. Organizations currently using the ICS feed should transition to a supported native calendar integration.
Appointment confirmation emails that include downloadable ICS calendar attachments are not affected by this change and will continue to function as expected.
Retired the Appointments calendar feed (ICS) export, including the “Export as Link” functionality used to generate subscribable calendar URLs.
Discontinued live calendar feed updates, meaning previously subscribed ICS feed links no longer receive new or updated appointments after the retirement date.
Recommended native calendar integrations for Outlook and Google Calendar as the supported replacement for ongoing appointment synchronization.
Continued support for calendar invite attachments included with appointment confirmation emails. These downloadable ICS files remain available and are unaffected by this change.
Improved platform security by removing a legacy calendar feed mechanism that is no longer the preferred method for calendar synchronization.
Retiring the legacy ICS calendar feed improves platform security while encouraging the use of modern calendar integrations that provide a more reliable synchronization experience. Native Outlook and Google Calendar integrations automatically keep appointments, updates, and cancellations in sync, reducing manual effort and providing a more consistent experience for users.
