Overview: We are excited to announce a significant improvement to our application registration flow. This update introduces a more streamlined process for users who have an existing record in Element451 but do not yet have a set password, enhancing security and user experience.

Simplified Access: Users with an existing Element451 record but no password now experience a smoother initial login process without the confusion of password resets.
Enhanced Security: Incorporates email verification to ensure secure setup and prevent potential account takeovers.
Streamlined Process: Upon attempting to register, users are prompted with an email verification dialogue window if Element451 associates the email address used with an existing record with no password. They must verify their identity by entering a code sent to their email, allowing them to proceed with their application seamlessly.
Reduced Friction: Eliminates the misleading prompts about existing accounts, thus reducing confusion and improving the overall experience for new users.
Benefit: This enhancement eliminates a common friction point for students who previously faced confusing prompts when an email address was already on file but not actively registered. Now, by simplifying the registration process and adding a layer of security, students can more easily engage with our platform, ensuring a smooth transition into using Element451. This update not only improves user satisfaction but also enhances the security and integrity of user registrations.
