We’ve expanded the Documents permission model to give admins fine-grained control over how team members can access and manage documents. This update replaces the previous all-or-nothing access model with a flexible permission structure.
New Fine-Grained Document Permissions: The individual permissions governing which users can access documents within permission groups have been revised; review existing permission group configurations to confirm access reflects intended settings. The following document permissions now exist:
Administer Documents: Upload/Edit/Delete documents. Manage document types.
View Documents: View existing documents.
Edit Documents: Upload new documents and edit document properties.
Delete Documents: Delete existing documents.
With these granular permissions, admins can now delegate document access more securely and efficiently, ensuring the right level of access for each team member.
