Overview
You can gain insights into student engagement with your institution through Element451's Activity Feed. This feature chronicles students' engagement, presenting a chronological narrative encapsulating their journey.
π Note: You must have the Activity Feed card displayed on your profile template.
Activity Tracked
The activity feed includes the following activities by an external user:
Creation of the user record
Communications sent
Communications received
Communications opened/clicked (with details of date and time)
When they logged into their account
Links clicked
Registration for Events
Cancellation of Events
Attendance of Events
Page views
Tasks/changes completed by staff members
Accessing + Viewing Tracked Activity
Navigate to Contacts > People or use the search bar in the top right corner to search the student's name.
Click on their name to open the profile.
Look for the Activity card on the user profile. You can also search for it using the search bar.
To expand and view all activity, open the Bolt Sheet by clicking the arrow next to Activity or clicking the More button at the bottom.
βYou can use the filters in the left menu to narrow down the activity feed.
βFrom the Bolt Sheet, you can view the details of each activity.
To view more information about a specific activity, click the eye icon on the right side to expand the information provided. For example, if the activity is "Clicked a link," you can view the URL clicked, geographical location, IP address, and platform used by clicking the eye icon.

Email Content Viewer
π Note: By default, only Element451 administrators have access to view Email content. Contact your administrator to request one of the following Records permissions:

For most users, we recommend assigning the See Sent Email/SMS Content - Sensitive Info Redacted permission.
Within the Activity Feed, you can view emails exactly as they were rendered when sent, inclusive of tokens and dynamic content. This ensures that you see the delivered email as the Contact saw it. Emails tracked by the Activity Feed include:
One-Time Campaigns
Ongoing Campaigns
Appointments: Autoresponders
Applications: Autoresponders
Events: Notifications
Events: Custom Messages
Password Reset: Autoresponders
Email content is viewable on the following email activities: delivered, bounced, opened, and clicked link in email.
π Note: Access to email history in the content viewer is limited to emails sent on or after February 5, 2024.
To view email content from the Activity Feed:
Locate the email activity you wish to view
Click the eye icon
Click the View Content button
SMS Content Viewer

Adding Custom Activities
As mentioned above, Element451 automatically tracks a lot of activity, but there may be situations where you might want to monitor additional activities. You have the ability to add these custom activities to a student's profile.
Tracking Activity Feed Changes by Internal Users
The activity feed includes tracked changes made by internal users. As a result, if needed, leadership/admins can quickly investigate the changes in a student's record.
