This article keeps you informed about the latest developments from Element451. Every month, we spotlight everything from bug fixes and subtle improvements to exciting new features and significant enhancements.

We update this article regularly throughout the month as we roll out new releases, improvements, and bug fixes. Please check back frequently to stay informed.

Fixes and Improvements

Applications + Decisions

  • Improved

    • Added the ability to use custom tokens on Information Request Recommender Form elements (greeting and message), allowing data from the applicant form to be referenced, using the prefix “inforequest” for custom token slugs (e.g., [inforequest:user-custom-training-hogwarts-house]).

    • Updated the decision status creation process to require a color, preventing API rejection.

    • Updated the application mobile view to remove the “Continue Application” button when no dashboard content is detected, displaying only when the overview section has cards.

    • Added the ability to export an application snapshot using the Import + Export Module with the new document type “Application Preview - First Snapshot.

    • Updated the mobile view to remove the “Start Application” button when no cards are detected, leaving only the “Continue Application” button

    • Added an “X” to the top corner of the application submission screen for improved navigation.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the focus was not set on the new section header after clicking ‘next step’ without errors.

    • Resolved an issue where the focus was incorrectly set on the error message instead of the first field with an error.

    • Resolved an issue where switching between supplemental forms would lock out field interactions until the page was refreshed.

    • Resolved an issue where the payment screen would not appear after clicking the pay button on an application.

    • Resolved an issue where the multi-doc upload field on information request forms only allowed one document to be uploaded instead of multiple.

    • Resolved an error when opening a contact’s profile from decision documents.

    • Resolved an issue where the “All Decisions” list would appear blank.

    • Resolved an issue where viewing a decision on the application site appeared blank on mobile devices.

BoltAI

  • Improved

    • Added unique URL parameters to knowledge base sources viewed or edited from the sidesheet, allowing for internal sharing and reference in Insights.

    • Added the ability to individually and bulk delete Bolt Discovery threads.

    • Added support for indexing .aspx pages from a sitemap when adding sources to the knowledge base.

    • Added a voice-to-text feature for Bolt AI Staff Assistants to improve accessibility and ease of use.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where larger PDFs failed to upload to the knowledge base for learning.

    • Resolved an issue where follow-up question suggestions stopped appearing in Bolt Discovery after the lead capture form was triggered, regardless of form completion.​

    • Resolved an issue where Student Assistants would answer non-school-related questions if they followed a school-related query, instead of correctly declining to respond.

Campaigns

  • Improved

    • Added the availability title token to the “Next Appointment” tokens for use in Campaigns.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the X icon was not visible next to the version name in the audience dropdown when the text exceeded a certain length.

Conversations

  • Improved

    • Added a banner to the bottom of the assignment notification email, displaying the alert color and type, to increase visibility and awareness that the assignment was triggered by the content moderation feature.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where using the [assignee:first name] token in SMS added an extra space after the name in the received message despite it not appearing in the preview or activity log.

    • Resolved an issue where users with the Access Conversations451 permission could not see, add, or remove tags from conversations.

    • Resolved an issue where conversation rules with the “to email” condition were not assigned correctly.

Data + Insights

  • Improved

    • Added Capture Higher Ed as an identity type option.

    • Added Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL) as an identity type option.

    • Added visualizations to the Overview and Bolt Assistant tabs on the Conversations Insights Dashboard to display pages where conversations are started.

    • Added a Requests Limit Per Minute setting to webhooks.

    • Added a ZeeMee global import template.

    • Added mailing address fields as options for mapping in exports.

    • Added the ability to export an application snapshot using the Import + Export Module with the new document type “Application Preview - First Snapshot.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where documents became uneditable after their parent folder was deleted from the Documents Bin.

    • Resolved an issue where data in the Campaigns Insights Dashboard did not match the data in the Campaign.

    • Resolved an issue where the Data Hygiene Insights dashboard displayed errors.

    • Resolved an issue where the data source list was occasionally out of alphabetical order in forms.

    • Resolved an issue where using decision mappings like [decisions-criteria_global] in a calculated column formula caused an “Expression has undefined tokens” error.

Events

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where custom event autoresponders were not saving.

    • Resolved an issue where previewing event messages displayed no content.

Microsites

  • Improved

    • Removed the Social Feed feature from Microsites due to changes in X’s API, which no longer supports live feeds.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the Microsite CTA was not displaying correctly on mobile devices.

Pages

  • Improved

    • Removed the Social Feed feature from Pages due to changes in X’s API, which no longer supports live feeds.

People

  • Improved

    • Updated the deduplication logic to allow up to two mismatched digits in phone numbers, improving the detection of potential duplicates.

    • Added separate filters for searching GPA (All Properties) by string and by number, allowing targeting by school type.

    • Updated contact profile indicators to visually represent the status of phone numbers: a green check mark for valid numbers that won’t receive SMS messages, a green SMS bubble for valid numbers that will receive SMS messages, and a red X for invalid numbers. Added hover-over descriptions for each icon to provide further clarification on the number’s status.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue with inconsistencies in the People listing search, where exact matches were returned without a segment filter, but close matches were returned with a segment filter; now, both methods retrieve exact matches.

    • Added the user-citizenship-visa-type segment filter for partners where it was previously missing.

    • Resolved an issue where adding certain international phone numbers to a contact record caused a save error.

    • Resolved an issue where the segment builder would lose focus when interacting with the scrollbar of a select dropdown while using ‘in’ or ‘not in’ operators in Windows Chrome.

Settings + Permissions

  • Improved

    • Re-ordered cards in the UI for SSO setup in security settings to group internal and external settings separately.

    • Introduced a new permission, Administer Media Manager, to provide more granular control over access to your Media Manager. Release Notes →

    • Resolved a temporary issue where permission groups were not visible within the Manage Users.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where internal users could still view documents despite having document restrictions enabled.

Surveys

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where ‘rating grid’ type questions were not included in the CSV export of survey results.

    • Resolved an issue where attempting to preview surveys resulted in a 403 error.

Tasks

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where advancing pages in the Task listing kept the user at the bottom, requiring manual scrolling to the top.

New and Enhanced Features

Content Moderation

We’ve introduced a robust content moderation tool for Bolt Student Assistants, which automatically flags conversations containing potentially inappropriate, harmful, or manipulative content.

Disable ReCAPTCHA on Forms

Element451 Forms now include a feature to disable ReCAPTCHA, offering greater control over user experience when collecting form submissions.


Administer Media Manager Permission

We’ve introduced a new permission, Administer Media Manager, to provide more granular control over access to your Media Manager.
