Fixes and Improvements

Applications + Decisions

  • Improved

    • Added a backend filter to remove decisions from deactivated user accounts in the All Decisions listing, ensuring the list only displays decisions requiring processing; decisions remain accessible from user profiles, and deactivated users are reactivated if they submit new applications, allowing future decisions to appear as expected.

    • Updated PSAT test score validations to enforce the following ranges: Composite Score (320-1520), Math (160-760), and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (160-760).

    • Added an auto-populate feature for the Country field when using the search function to select a high school.

    • Enhanced the delete confirmation message for decision statuses to display the status name in the heading.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where decision criteria scores appeared on the front end but were not saved, preventing users from editing the decision criteria.

    • Resolved an issue where text in the Info Requests section of the Applications profile card sometimes overlapped.

    • Resolved an issue where the decision page retained the original scroll position instead of opening at the top when accessed from a student’s applications card.

    • Resolved an issue where generating a document download from a student record application would fail with an “Unable to generate document” error.

    • Resolved an issue where uploaded documents were missing from the records decision board and profile despite the checklist item showing as completed.

    • Updated application/deposit payment autoresponder templates to remove the display of "last 4 digits of card" and "card type" information, as this data was not available, resulting in blank fields.

Appointments

  • Improved

    • Added validation to the appointment booking URL slug field to prevent spaces, resolving related issues.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where calendar availability was displayed as not available.

BoltAI

  • Improved

    • Enhanced FAFSA Universal Knowledge documentation with additional information regarding the freezing of federal funds, sourced from the finaid.gov website.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where Knowledge Base category filters at the assistant level were not being recognized.

    • Resolved an issue where Bolt Assistant would repeat a student’s input instead of generating a proper response in certain conversations.

    • Resolved an issue where the knowledge base was not processing tabled data.

Campaigns

  • Improved

    • Added functionality to transfer the alt text of an image from the media manager when adding images to Campaigns.

    • Enhanced the campaign "communication priority" selector to conditionally appear only when the 'email' channel is selected and added help text with a link to the help center.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the CTA button in a campaign occasionally did not function in Outlook.

    • Resolved an issue where using commas to separate multiple mediums in UTM settings did not separate the mediums as expected.

Conversations

  • Improved

    • Added an ARIA label to the messenger widget bubble for “Open Live Chat” to improve accessibility.

    • Adjusted the placement of the Messenger Settings card to appear below the Assistants card, ensuring consistency with the Email and SMS settings cards.

    • Updated in-app calling transcription to display “The recording is currently unavailable” after 8 hours instead of 24 hours if no transcription is generated.

    • Updated the UI in in-app calling conversations to display "recording disabled for this call" when call recording is disabled.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the first conversation remained highlighted on the Conversations profile card after selecting a different conversation.

    • Resolved an issue where spaces in file names of downloaded documents from the Documents Bin caused errors when attaching and sending them via a conversation.

    • Resolved an issue where PDFs with spaces in their filenames were inaccessible when sent via Conversations.

    • Resolved an issue where emails appeared with extra spacing compared to the preview in Element.

    • Resolved an issue where sending images (MMS) in conversations resulted in errors.

Data + Insights

  • Improved

    • Enhanced the Sources profile card by exposing UTM properties for imported web sources, improving data visibility.

    • Updated the Sources (All Properties) filter to include additional UTM property options: “Properties - UTM Medium,” “Properties - UTM Campaign,” and “Properties - UTM Content."

    • Enhanced user merging via import to retain import history for merged users.

    • Added star mapping support for user-milestones-* fields.

    • Added the relationship option, spouse, to the [SYS] Emergency Contact Relationship data source.

    • Added a global identity type for Advansys.

    • Added a global identity type for PeopleSoft.

    • Added the ability to map to the user-citizenship-country-second field in Import + Export.

    • Expanded the scope limit for columns during import from 19 positions to 99.

    • Updated phone number field display logic to hide the country code field when the hidden toggle is on and a default country code value is selected.

    • Added the ability to customize the help text beneath the high school search tool in forms and applications.

    • Expanded the allowed file extension types in the media manager to match those supported in the knowledge base.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where document imports via index were not always assigned to the correct contact due to case-sensitive email matching, now matching emails regardless of capitalization.

    • Resolved a bug where “Available For” properties in Campus data sources were not importing correctly, causing them to appear in exports but not on the “Available For” screen.

    • Resolved an issue where an index file import skipped files and prevented preview loading.

Events

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where event message emails were not sending, previewing, or appearing in the activity of registered students, and only the SMS was sent when attempting to send a preview message.

    • Resolved an issue where the event page was missing today's date if the event was occurring on the current day.

Microsites

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue with microsite logins.

Pages

  • Improved

    • Added a new "text" block to the Pages editor, allowing insertion of page blocks with headline, sub-headline, separator, and description.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where Heading 1 text in Pages did not scale properly on mobile devices if the text was too long.

    • Resolved an issue preventing the reset of default form options on forms.

People

  • Improved

    • Removed the “Payment successful” property filter from Forms > Paid Form filter as it was unnecessary.

    • Improved the contact profile traits section to display active degrees as Name (Code) instead of only the code.

    • Added a validation error message to ensure correct phone number entry on family member records.

    • Exposed filters for name, email, gender, graduated here, living, type, and relationship within the Family Member (user-family) grouping.

    • Updated the "External" value label for the Task User Type filter to "Contact" for consistency.

    • Enhanced profile card displays to allow text wrapping for improved readability of large data lists.

    • Added a "Contact Deactivated" chip to the profile header to clearly indicate when a contact's profile has been deactivated.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where generating a download document from the application card on a contact profile resulted in an error.

    • Resolved an issue where the "view content" button was incorrectly displayed on conversation activities in the Activity feed, causing errors.

    • Resolved an issue causing errors when deleting empty family members on contact profiles.

Settings

  • Improved

    • Updated the button placement in the MFA confirmation code modal, switching “Confirm” to the right and “Cancel” to the left.

    • Added a feature to MFA that enforces a 60-second wait after 10 incorrect code attempts to enhance security and prevent automated misuse.

    • Added rate-limiting to verification code attempts to prevent brute-force attacks and bot behavior.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the settings menu was not visible on mobile devices.

    • Resolved an issue where deleted internal users retained assigned live support seats, preventing reassignment.

StudentHub

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where “Upcoming Appointments” still appeared under “My Network” in StudentHub even when the Appointments module was disabled.

Surveys

Tasks

  • Improved

    • Enhanced the task template list to automatically sort alphabetically when creating a task from a template.

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue preventing the creation or editing of a task template without an ‘assigned to’ value despite the field being optional.

    • Resolved an issue where tasks created before a user joined a queue's target segment were not appearing in the task queue.

    • Resolved an issue where the bulk action dropdown for status and priority in the tasks table incorrectly retained the selected value from the previous page.

    • Updated the spelling of the system task status from "todo" to "To Do."

Workflows + Rules

  • Fixed

    • Resolved an issue where the Workflows profile card incorrectly displayed “No Trigger” despite a trigger enrolling the user.

New and Enhanced Features

Element451 Integration Plugin for WordPress

The Element451 Plugin for WordPress simplifies the process of adding and managing Element451’s Bolt Discovery and Messenger features. With minimal setup, you can enhance your site’s search capabilities and provide live engagement tools, empowering your visitors and improving their overall experience.

MFA Enforcement for Element451 Logins

To enhance the security of your institution’s data, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required for all internal users logging in with the Element451-provided email and password. This update ensures a more secure and reliable authentication process, protecting against unauthorized access.
