A new View Payments permission has been added to provide more granular control over who can access payment information. To ensure a seamless transition, users who previously had access to payment history through existing profile-related permissions will automatically retain that access after this update.
Administrators can continue managing payment access through role permissions without disrupting existing user access.
New View Payments permission provides dedicated control over access to payment information.
Existing access preserved for users and groups that already have the Admin Profiles, Edit Profiles, or View Profiles permissions, ensuring they continue to have access to payment history after the update.
Greater flexibility allows organizations to adjust payment viewing permissions independently as their security needs evolve.
This release also includes security improvements around access to this information via the API.
This update gives administrators more precise control over payment access while ensuring existing users do not unexpectedly lose functionality. By preserving current access during the transition, organizations can adopt the new permission structure without disrupting day-to-day operations and can update permissions over time as needed.
