We are excited to announce several quality-of-life improvements to search in Decision.
These improvements should increase speeds for most users by 5x-10x. For some partners with tens of thousands of decisions registered in Element, this will drastically improve the search experience.
Updates to Decision Search include:
Users can now search via additional data points:
Names (first name, last name, middle name, preferred name, and former last name)
Email
Phone
Identities (school ID, secondary email, and other identifiers)
Decision registration ID
Element user ID
Visibility groups are now applied. You’ll only see decisions related to people that are in your visibility group(s)
We fixed a bug where “no cohort” decisions were not correctly detecting a decision if it was in a deleted cohort. If the cohort gets deleted, the decision will now automatically go into the no cohort group.
The following items have been deprecated in this release:
The favorites filter has been removed. This feature was not commonly used and contributed to the performance issues. We are exploring alternatives to restore some parts of the favorites feature. Starred (favorited) decisions are still available from the overview dashboard card.
The unassigned filter has been removed. However, you can still create an unassigned cohort using segment filters.
