Release Notes

Issued September 19, 2023

This article covers a number of minor enhancements released in mid-September 2023.

On this page:

Duplicate a Step in Workflow Rules

You can now duplicate existing steps within your Rules, the same way you have been able to duplicate steps in a Workflow.

New Profile Call-to-Action "Send Communication"

A new profile call-to-action option, "Send Communication," has been added to allow you to send a predetermined campaign email to a single user. Admins can edit the People Template Header in Settings > Profile Templates.

Added Permission to Control Access to "Login As User"

We have added the ability to control which admins have permission to impersonate a student by logging into their application. You can access this new permission in Settings > Manage Users > Groups & Permissions.

Ability to Control One-Time Imports

When configuring an SFTP import, you will now see the option to "process files once." Enabling this option allows the files in the source location to be uploaded only that one time, even if they remain in the target folder during subsequent runs. To access this new option, navigate to Data + Automations > Import/Export > Import.

Scheduled Import Runs Continue without a File Present

When configuring a scheduled import task, you will now see an option to select "When no matching files are available, execute the next scheduled task run." Enabling this option allows your scheduled task to continue to run as scheduled, even if there is not a matching file found. This helps to ensure that your run won't break.

.ics Attachment Added to Event Communication

Your event emails will now automatically contain .ics attachments, allowing your attendees to easily open the attachment and add the event to their calendar.

"Add to Calendar" Tokens Available in Communication

"Add to calendar" tokens for Google, Outlook, and Office365 are now available in your event messages. Adding these links makes it easy and convenient for your attendees to add the event to their calendars.
